Chapter 3 Rework

In keeping with the desire to widen branches, here's the expanded version of Chapter 3. Of course, I don't expect these revisions to be the last. I hope to flesh them out a bit more as time goes on as well. To that end, I'd like to at least complete these branch outlines for first arc and all its chapters before going in and actually writing the first working draft.
