I've been thinking a great deal about totally rewriting the first 13 chapters of the novel. I was originally thinking that I would save that major edit for a manga version, but I might be doing print runs of the light novel first.
Really depends on what one of my publishers will offer me.
But what I'd change is to give Freya her DI right off the bat, and also move Raijin further down the story. Basically, there would be a whole lot more time of Freya "talking" to herself through her DI as she explores the new galaxy, specifically Helios.
I'm still kind of working things through, but I think that's the way to go.
In completely separate news, I recently purchased a game called ZERO Sievert. It's an extraction shooter similar to Escape from Tarkov, Marauders, and The Cycle: Frontier. Except, it's single player and top-down and really really tough.
I've spent about 55 hours in it so far, and have gotten very close to the the current endgame. It is in alpha, so it isn't quite the actual end, and there's a lot that the single dev is planning
I'm enjoying it so much that I'm tempted to stream it, haha.
The game really is phenomenal, and I highly urge everyone who is interested in extraction shooters to give it a shot.
